HOSTAGE is a collage project revolving around the bizarre and twisted nature of the human mind, more specifically nightmares about being held hostage. The mind finds ways to alter reality, delving into deep rooted fears and emotions that lie in the dark recesses of the mind. These collages aim to show the mind bending nature of dreams and how they create a warped sense of the world alongside the terrifying and claustrophobic sensation of being trapped, suppressed and held captive.
